Crawl space restoration. Damp, dirt crawl spaces create environmental exposure including mold spores, odors, and decay that may cause structural damage. Mold spores can develop easily in a humid environment and can eventually contribute to airborne disease. Humid and damp conditions also provide a haven for spiders, beetles, centipedes, termites and animals such as mice, rats and even snakes. EnviroCare Air Quality Restoration offers the following solutions to reduce risk.
The CrawlSpace Encapsulation Program. Our trained installers remove wood and other debris from your crawl space. We then perform exclusionary work to exclude rodent activity, remove and replace old damp, infested insulation. A CleanSpace liner is then carefully cut and inserted to isolate the earth from your home. The liner is completely sealed over the floor and walls to create a bright, clean, attractive environment. To prevent further moisture from entering the crawl space, vent covers will be installed to save energy costs and facilitate a healthy home.
SmartSump Pump. Part of keeping your crawl space dry involves a sump pump. But not just any sump pump installation will do. SmartSump is designed just for crawl spaces.
The SmartSump has a high quality, 1/3 horsepower cast-iron pump with automatic float switch. The sump pump cover and unique sump liner are specially designed to accept the CleanSpace vapor barrier system for an airtight seal.
SaniDry Air Systems. The SaniDry Basement Air System is a powerful and effective dehumidifier. It will remove four times the amount of water a typical dehumidifier takes, yet uses the same amount of energy. A powerful blower draws the damp musty air in and moves the dry, clean air back out into the basement. The SaniDry Crawl Space and Basement Air System will automatically drain the water so you never have to empty it. You can keep your home as dry as you want with just a twist of a knob. Dry air is less costly and easier to heat or cool.
